Projects Completed!

So I just downloaded all the pictures off my camera and I remembered I had taken pictures of all the quilting projects I've finished over the last several months. Some of them were started a year or two ago but only recenly have I finished the binding. Nonetheless, they are finished and I'm excited to say I'm working on a new project. Nothing fancy, but fun for me anyway :). So, here are the one's I've finished lately (some of the pictures are washed out - oops!).

Congratulations, Nicky!

Yesterday Nicky won the chapel award at his preschool for "Shining the light of Jesus in the classroom." I don't know if you can hear the audio on the video - it's pretty muffled but he shared his extra jacket with a new kid in his class and when the kid was shy about taking the extra jacket, Nicky took off his Buzz Lightyear jacket (his very favorite one) and let the kid borrow it. We all got to go to his chapel award ceremony and enjoyed a reception afterwards.

Here are some pictures we took of Claire after church on Sunday. This is the outfit that my Mom knitted for me & my grandmother put the flowers on. She looked beautiful in it!

Snow Day!

Today we threw caution (and work) to the wind and took the kids up to Idyllwild to see the snow for the 1st time. They loved it and had a great time. Nicky threw snowballs to his heart's content and Catelyn was such a helper with the snowman Daddy made. They didn't want to leave and had such a great time! Here are a few pics from the day.

Meet the Newest Member of the Family...

Proudly named Elmo, Nicky was so excited to pick out his first pet. He is a Lionhead Goldfish and his new home is on Nicky's dresser. This morning I heard Nicky ask him how he slept last night :).
