Claire has figured out how to army crawl and she is going anywhere she can...usually toward the closest pair of shoes :). I caught her on video this morning...
So Catelyn has her own version of the nursery rhyme, Rub-a-dub-dub. If you can't quite understand her in the video, it goes something like this:
Rub-a-dub-dub, three dub-dub, who think it is? Good guys! (she used to say, Bad guys :)).
She's also working on her ABCs...
So I decided to do some videos of the kids today so everyone can see them. Claire will be 5 months on the 4th and she is quite the talker. She squeals everytime someone talks to her or walks by and smiles at her. She's so sweet and happy. Catelyn surprised me the other day by counting to 20 almost completely by herself. Here's a video of her trying to do it again. Certainly not perfect but she's learning quickly. And Nicky wanted to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider for the camera so here is his version of the song. Such good kids...I'm so blessed.
Nicky participated in his first tee ball game today (we missed the first 2 because he was sick). He did great and he hit the ball on the first pitch as you can see here. He's #7 (the one batting).
When I asked her why she stuck it in her ear, she said, "phone...hello?" Thank you Playmobil for making a phone the size of my daughter's ear canal :).
Last weekend Mimi took Catelyn to Chicago to meet Special Grandma (Great-Grandma Rybowicz affectionately renamed Special Grandma by Nicky last summer). Catelyn had a great time and got to meet lots of great aunts & uncles too.

For weeks Catelyn has been asking me for a "cone", meaning ice cream cone. So yesterday we took the kids out for a treat and she got a huge one! She ate every last bite and here was the aftermath...
She even shared a bite...
So the new thing with Nicky & Catelyn is that they love to hide from me when I busy. By the time I realize it's too quiet, they are off hiding and I have to go find them. In this video, I thought for sure I knew where they were...I was wrong but it was still funny :).
I finally got around to getting Claire's baby pictures done. She did great except she never quite gave us that bright big smile she loves to flash when you talk to her but they still turned out great. I decided at the last minute to try to get one with Nicky & Catelyn too but Catelyn was upset and would only go in the picture if I did too so...we all jumped in. Unfortunately, Grant wasn't there so he isn't in the picture...bummer. Anway, I'm glad they are done and she is so cute! She's such a sweet baby and so easy going. We are truly blessed!
Yesterday Nicky won the chapel award at his preschool for "Shining the light of Jesus in the classroom." I don't know if you can hear the audio on the video - it's pretty muffled but he shared his extra jacket with a new kid in his class and when the kid was shy about taking the extra jacket, Nicky took off his Buzz Lightyear jacket (his very favorite one) and let the kid borrow it. We all got to go to his chapel award ceremony and enjoyed a reception afterwards.
